The Hutton Project Our Hutton Surname DNA Project is open to ALL Hutton researchers and includes many derivations of the spelling of Hutton. Our goal is to identify many Hutton family groups and hopefully to prove and disprove family connections. DNA will NOT take the place of traditional research. It is only an enhancement for that research. - it verifies the paperwork and lets you know you were right in your traditional research. On the other hand, it may be disappointing when someone you thought to be a cousin proves not to be. Still, it is good to know the truth. If you find that you did not descend from the person you thought was yours, that lets you know to look at other Hutton lines in the areas where your family lived.
There will also be Hatton DNA
information included on this web-site. See DNA Table page for link. |

News from Rod Hutton:
Our "Hutton Family Reunion' is scheduled for June 23-25, 2006 in Elk City,
Oklahoma.
This is the family descendants of James E. and Lucy Hutton who settled in Indian
Territory near Elk City in 1898 with their two oldest boys Clyde (5) and Aden
Hutton (9
months). Six more children were born to James and Lucy in the early years of the
1900's after their move to Indian Territory Vera Pearl, Charlie, Gladys, Nova,
